Challenges with Other Aquarium Builders...

Poor Construction - Many times the aquarium is built poorly and causes issues.

Let Down - You waste time and money and end up not getting what you want.

Unhealthy Tank - A poor installation can often result in an unhealthy tank.

Lose Your Fish - In a worst case scenario, you could end up losing all your fish.

No Support - The company leaves you with all the ongoing maintenance.

Eye Sore - And the tank becomes more of an eye sore than a piece of living art.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will the aquarium be fully stocked on the day it is installed?

No, the aquarium will be stocked in a controlled and safe manner.  Within a few days of the aquarium being installed and filled, we will begin the process of stocking the aquarium with fish (and corals and other invertebrates if a reef aquarium). Just a few fish and/or corals are added every week during our service visits.  Our goal is to keep the aquarium healthy and to not stress out the system and fish by overloading the system.  It typically takes two to three months reach a good level of stocking.

  • Do I need to feed the fish daily and what happens if I take a long weekend out of town?

Many of our clients enjoy feeding their fish and watching them eat.  We will regularly deliver frozen and other fish foods to you on our weekly visits and also provide you with proper feeding instructions. If you miss a couple days now and then, it is no big deal.  The fish can go several days without feeding.  If you are going to be gone for a week or more, we will help you with the arrangements to make sure your fish will be fine.

  • I am responsible for picking out the fish that will go in my aquarium?

We do not expect any of our clients to have the knowledge or experience to be able to select all their fish and have them coexist or be coral friendly.  Most of our clients rely on us completely to fully stock their aquarium with a compatible variety of fish and corals.  Some clients like to be involved in the selection process.  In this case, we will strive to provide as many of the fish off their list as possible, keeping in mind species that are incompatible and are inappropriate fish for the size or type of aquarium.

  • When and how do your schedule the regular weekly or bi-weekly services?

We typically schedule regular appointment windows staring between 9am and 3pm, Monday through Thursday (Some exceptions to these hours may apply).  You will have the same time slot each week (or every other week).  If a residential client is not going to be home, we will needed to be provided with the ability to get in.  You will have the same service tech week after week.

Of course holidays and other events may sometimes cause a change to the schedule, but those will always be communicated and the service rescheduled when needed.  Our "weekly" service is 48 services per year our bi-weekly is 26 services per year.
